How this program works?

This programme will enable you to decode digital and analog signals out of any high quality Transceiver / Receiver. It will also improve sound readability quality, This ability was only possible before hand using a High Cost DSP-Receiver and or complex active and costly filters. All of this is possible using the existing DSP capabilities of your Computer and (DSP) Sound, and all of this Without any complicated hardware interfaces, the signal from the Receiver goes directly into the computer for processing. With a COM-Port and Soundcard combination Transceiver / Receiver can be accomplished as well. The DSP processed and filtered signal will normally output from your computer-loudspeaker system. RadioCom 4.0 will be delivered in the basic version with BONITO -DSP-filter-analyzer, RTTY, CW, FAX, SSTV and DCF77-decoder.

As can be seen by the explosion of COSTLY hardware based solutions (TNC's and Converters) there exists a considerable demands to receive "digital" radio messages. This demand can now be fulfilled using a standard "qualified" computers, this new solution exists which and it doesn't need expensive DSP technology anymore and it smoother better handling and user friendly interface eliminates. Expensive screens, tools etc. Such a technology is realized with the RadioCom 4.0 package. This program is able to decode and record audio messages, fax,  morse code(CW), and rtty-messages. With the RadioCom 4.0 frequency-manager it's possible to catch and store interesting messages and  to recall them again for future reference. Bonito DSP-Analyzing System

It's hard work to understand and program for digital-sound-processing, frequency-analyzing and digital decoding. All of this functionality can now be done with a computer, without special costly and intricate hardware based filter-technology. Signals from simple receivers and Transceivers can be improved and processed using RadioCom 4.0 's optimal filter in such a way that you can hear and see "acoustical effect" from it. With this program you can evaluate signals, which are normally unhearable. Every filter type and quality perimeter can be realized for the respective operating modes. You can notice, how a very small low level signal is become louder and very clear. With minimal spill over from other stations. You can select and specify individual bandfilters and notchfilters with different "undulations" and band-widths. Extremely small and complexly selective-filter-cascades to decode multichannel-signals are used in the decoder-system. A frequency analyzer window shows the frequency band and the effect from the filter. Tuning helpers like adjustment cross are possible without an oscilloscope. You are now able with the aide of RadioCom 4.0 and its simple tools to perform things on your computer with in the past could be only done before with expensive hardware.

How it possible to achieve such extreme results? It's very simple. The signal is selected with the decoder-type. After the signal is analyzed and the probable signal identified it will be synthesized and then reproduced with the sound-synthesizer. Undesired frequencies and noise will not be reproduced. Visualize an RTTY-signal with both tones. First the expected frequency will be analyzed, after the decoded signal will be produced artificial with the frequency-synthesizer.

A Receiver:
A SSB-receiver (controlable) You can use all world receiver like Sony, Panasonic, Grundig, Siemens or others with SSB. If you use one of these, you only can`t use the remote-control. We recommend controlable receiver like YAESU, ICOM, LOWE, KENWOOD, NRD, AOR etc.

By automatically using with frequency controling you need stability and exactness of the adjusted frequency. In the delivered modem is a control-electronity for YAESU FRG100 and LOWE-HF50 inside. You didn`t need an extern control tool. In our offers we use two receiver: FRG100 YAESU and the blackbox-receiver IC-PCR 1000 ICOM, only for computer operating.

If you would like also transmitting, you need a transceiver. In the moment are ICOM, YAESU and KENWOOD controllable.

A Pentium-computer:
This computer needs an Intel-Pentium, a soundcard, a graphic card with more than 256 colors, Windows`95 or NT.

The programme-package:
This is the software RadioCom 4.0, the small modem for receiver-controling, AF-wire and operating instructions.
